In 1990, Robin Shenfield and Pat Joseph foundered The Mill, a post production and visual effects company, they've been creating world-class visual effects over twenty two years . Their first studio was in Soho, London (now based in London, New York,Chicago and Los Angeles). They started as a visual effects house for the advertising industry, it was the first VFX company in Europe at the time that exclusively used digital methods. In the following year of their upcoming company, they started working with big names, such as Saatchi & Staachi and BBH. This lead them to work with a number of iconic commercials with major brands, like Levi's, Coca-Cola and PlayStation that's known world-wide!

Colour Grading and Date - When Colour Grading at The Mill, they guarantee consistent brand quality
and protects the honour of the 'look' of a campaign. The Data Lab at Mill’s provides consultancy
and processing for all data-acquisition activities Canon, RED, Arri D21,
Phantom, and Genesis, etc. covering shoot, editorial, colour grading, online
and VFX. The have a team that uses tools including Assimilates, Scratch, and
DVS Clipster and, in combination with their Colour Grading department and TV
& Film division, have Film Light, Pandora and Digital Vision's RED solutions
they use.
Remote Grading - They
also offer Agencies, Directors and DoPs real time remote grading from anywhere
in the world, allowing their clients the capability to hand-pick the unique
talent and expertise of the artist of their choice. The
Mill's global remote network offers state-of-the-art Dolby monitors that are equally
calibrated and run via a dedicated Internet feed across all of The Mill
studios.
