This diagram I have constructed shows - the 180 degree rule showing that which ever side of the red line (in the red faint line) the camera is on must stay on one side. This helps the audience to be aware and familiar to the surrounding in the scene.
As you can see below the red line all the cameras on the side would apply to the 180 degree rule. However above the line would not apply, the reason why I didn't cross it out was to show how the characters would be represented from the other side.
